While your labor and delivery might be a relatively brief part of your journey, it can have a profound impact on everything that comes after. My goal is to help you explore your options, identify your values and goals, and provide you with the resources, evidence, and support you need to feel good about your birth. I have experience with and enjoy supporting all kinds of births including unmedicated/physiologic, low-intervention, high-intervention, induction, and planned and unplanned cesareans. Birth is often unpredictable, so it’s important to me that you feel prepared for whatever comes your way.
My birth toolkit is simple and effective. I use comfort techniques during labor, such as movement, Spinning Babies and other positioning, massage, verbal encouragement, and words of affirmation. My birth bag includes a TENS unit, essential oils, reflexology chart, and massage tools. I also assist with creating an emotionally and physically safe, soothing birth space. This allows you to relax and stay in your parasympathetic nervous system, which is paramount to labor progress! Click here to learn more about my birth services.
