As first-time parents, Sonja joined our family the day after coming home from the hospital. Having had a C-section with some complications, Sonja was tremendously supportive of my health and recovery. She was also a skilled educator who guided my husband and I through a “Baby 101” of sorts. Sonja is a wonderful communicator and walked us through all the essential elements of newborn care, including feeding, nap schedule and hygiene.

As our son got older, Sonja continued to support and educate us on his evolving needs and provided childcare. Sonja is a baby whisperer and had a special relationship with my son. He would light up when he saw her and was very peaceful and calm under her care. I had the peace of mind that my son was safe and cared for with Sonja.

Sonja’s positive attitude and enthusiasm for seeing children develop is contagious. Sonja was flexible to meet our family’s needs, in addition to being reliable and punctual. I can’t say enough great things about Sonja and, again, highly recommend her as a doula.
